Important note
FeliVitals is for tracking and organization. It does not choose food, recommend a diet, diagnose nutrition problems, or replace veterinary advice.
Why feeding records help
Small changes in appetite, portions, calories, or food preference can matter in chronic cat care. A clear feeding log helps you see what your cat ate, when it happened, and whether appetite changed.
Nutrition details can also make vet visits easier, especially when you need to discuss calories, phosphorus, wet food moisture, or a change in food acceptance.
How it works in FeliVitals
- Add food details. Save food name, brand, calories, phosphorus, macros, moisture, default portion, preference, and notes.
- Manage your food list. Edit foods, keep preference labels, and turn on food moisture hydration when needed.
- Log feeding. Record appetite, notes, meals, portions, and times for the day.
- Review trends. See calorie trends, daily goal progress, appetite history, meals, phosphorus, and macro summaries.
Add food
Save the food once with calories, phosphorus, protein, fat, carbs, moisture, default portion, preference, and notes.
Manage foods
Keep your food list organized, edit saved foods, and enable food moisture so wet food water can count toward hydration.
Log feeding
Record appetite, add notes, choose saved foods or custom food names, enter portions, and keep meal times.
Review trends
Trends shows calories, daily goal status, appetite, meal history, phosphorus, protein, fat, and carbs by date.
Daily calorie goals
On the Today screen, you can set a calorie goal for your cat. FeliVitals can then compare logged meals with that daily target and show progress in the Today summary and Trends.

Helpful for chronic cat care
Feeding records can be useful for cats with CKD, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, IBD, lymphoma, appetite changes, weight changes, or nutrition plans that need close observation.
The app keeps the home history organized. Your veterinarian should decide what the feeding pattern means and what to change.
FAQ
Can I log more than one meal per day?

Can FeliVitals show calories and phosphorus?
Yes. If saved food data includes calories and phosphorus, FeliVitals can calculate daily summaries from logged portions.
Does FeliVitals recommend a diet?
No. FeliVitals stores and summarizes your records. Diet choices should be guided by your veterinarian.
