Glucose history is easier to review when each reading has a value, time, context, and note. This can help you prepare for diabetes rechecks and keep home monitoring records clear.
Glucose records can also be useful beside meals, appetite, insulin or medication timing, weight, thirst, urination, ketones, symptoms, and daily notes.
How it works in FeliVitals
- Log glucose. Add readings with their own time and note. Mark a pre-shot reading as AMPS or PMPS and enter an insulin dose when relevant. Log ketones in their separate section.
- Review trends. See latest glucose, average glucose, charted readings, target range lines, ketone history, notes, and recent entries by date.

AMPS and PMPS readings
AMPS means a glucose reading before the morning insulin shot. PMPS means a reading before the evening shot. Mark either type to record the insulin dose in units. Follow your veterinarian's instructions for testing and dosing.
Units and target range
You can choose mg/dL or mmol/L for glucose display. FeliVitals stores the history consistently and shows readings in the unit you prefer.
You can also set a target glucose range in settings. The range is only a record-keeping aid. Your veterinarian should explain what readings mean for your cat.
