Why lab records help
Lab results are easier to review when dates, values, units, clinic names, and notes stay together. This can help you prepare for rechecks without searching through photos, PDFs, or scattered messages.
Lab history is also more useful when it sits beside weight, feeding, hydration, medications, blood pressure, symptoms, litter box changes, and daily notes.
Scan a photo or PDF with AI
Take photos of one lab report, choose images from your phone, or select a PDF. AI fills in the result form. Check the date, values, and units, correct anything unclear, then save. Nothing is saved automatically.
Scan one test at a time. If a document contains results from several dates, the scan imports values from the newest test. You can still add or correct values yourself.
How it works in FeliVitals
- Add lab results. Scan a photo or PDF, or enter values manually. Check the date, title, clinic, values, units, and notes before saving.
- Review results. Open saved results in grouped sections, such as urine, kidney, electrolytes, liver, glucose, CBC, proteins, and other results.
- Review trends. Use Labs Summary for recent records and select a parameter when you want to see its history over time.
- Adjust units and ranges. Set the unit system and edit reference ranges for each lab parameter when your clinic uses different ranges.

Scan or enter values from a veterinary report, check the units, and keep the date, title, clinic, and notes with the record.
Review results
Saved results open as a clean read-only view, grouped by section so the values from one visit are easier to scan.
Review trends
Labs Summary shows recent records. Premium can show full lab trend charts for selected numeric parameters.
Set ranges and units
Choose the lab unit system and adjust reference ranges for each parameter, so your records match the ranges used by your clinic.
AI scans, Free and Premium
Free includes one successful AI scan per installation. Premium includes 20 successful scans per month, shared within the subscription owner's household. A scan counts when the filled result form opens, even if you do not save it.
Manual entry, Labs Summary, and recent results remain free. Premium also unlocks lab trend charts and PDF export.
Keep results with a vet visit
Open a saved visit and choose Add Lab Results. The cat, date, and clinic are filled in for you. Review the details, then save. The result stays linked to the visit and is also available in Labs.
Units and ranges
FeliVitals supports common lab units and can display values in the unit system you choose. For each lab parameter, you can adjust units where available and edit reference ranges in settings.
This helps keep records closer to the ranges printed by your veterinary lab. These ranges are only a record-keeping aid. Your veterinarian should explain what a result means for your cat.

Helpful for chronic cat care
Lab records can be useful for cats with CKD, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, IBD, lymphoma, FeLV, FIV, pancreatitis concerns, urinary concerns, or any plan where your veterinarian monitors values over time.
The app keeps the history clear. Your veterinarian should interpret the pattern and decide what should change.
