Important note
FeliVitals is for tracking and organization. It does not diagnose urinary problems, constipation, diarrhea, pain, obstruction, or any other condition, and it does not replace veterinary advice.
Why litter box records help
Litter box changes are easier to explain when each event has a time, type, and short note. A clear record can help you remember what happened before a vet visit.
Litter box history can be useful beside hydration, appetite, feeding, weight, medications, glucose, labs, symptoms, and daily notes.
How it works in FeliVitals
- Log litter box sessions. Add one or more urination and defecation entries for the day, with time, amount, stool quality, flags, and notes.
- Review trends. See daily litter box history beside appetite, energy, symptoms, notes, and other care records.
Log sessions
Add multiple pee and poop events in one day, record times, mark urine volume or stool quality, and keep notes for unusual changes.
Review trends
Trends shows daily history with pee and poop count, timed entries, flags such as dark urine, and related wellbeing sections for the same day.

Helpful for urinary and digestive notes
Litter box records can be useful for cats with CKD, diabetes, IBD, FIC, constipation, diarrhea, increased urination, accidents, or any plan where your veterinarian asks you to watch urine or stool changes.
If your cat strains and passes little or no urine, appears painful, cries in the litter box, becomes weak, or you see blood, contact a veterinarian promptly. A tracking app cannot rule out an emergency.
FAQ
Can I log more than one litter box visit per day?
Yes. You can add multiple urination and defecation entries for the same date.
Can I add times to pee and poop entries?
Yes. Each session can have its own time, or you can leave the time blank when it is not known.
Does FeliVitals tell me what caused a litter box change?
No. FeliVitals stores your observations. Your veterinarian should interpret the pattern and decide what to do next.
